For me, it seems like Azure cannot build a Python virtual environment and therefore, it fails to build and run the app. I am also attaching the logs from Azure where you can see the deployment logs and error messages. name: Upload artifact for deployment jobs # Optional: Add step to run tests here (PyTest, Django test suites, etc.) name: Create and start virtual environment PYTHON_VERSION: '3.11' # set this to the Python version to use Name: Build and deploy Python app to Azure Web AppĪZURE_WEBAPP_NAME: mapnord # set this to the name of your Azure Web App # For more samples to get started with GitHub Action workflows to deploy to Azure: # For more information on the Azure Web Apps Deploy action: # For more information on GitHub Actions for Azure: Optionally, change the PYTHON_VERSION environment variables below. Change the value for the AZURE_WEBAPP_NAME. # For instructions on obtaining the publish profile see: Create a secret in your repository named AZURE_WEBAPP_PUBLISH_PROFILE, paste the publish profile contents as the value of the secret. You can download this file from the Overview page of your Web App in the Azure Portal. Download the Publish Profile for your Azure Web App. # This workflow assumes you have already created the target Azure App Service web app. See the code below: # This workflow will build and push a Python application to an Azure Web App when a commit is pushed to your default branch. Last deployment: Successful on Friday 5 May, 09:10:38 PMįor the deployment with GitHub Actions I'm using a ready template provided by GitHub. I would appreciate if someone could help to understand the cause of the problem. The app was built with Plotly Dash which is running on top of flask. The problem is that Azure cloud seem not to be able to compile all files and run the app. GitHub Actions also seems to compile everything well sending forward to Azure cloud. The app is working properly when I run it on my local machine. I'm trying to automate the deployment of a Python web app onto Azure cloud with GitHub Actions.
